Frequently asked questions

These are the questions that come up most before starting therapy. If you have any other question, you can write to me directly.

How can I book an appointment?

You can write through the contact form, send an email, or message on WhatsApp to arrange a call. In the first contact, your situation is assessed and the format (in-person or online) and availability are agreed.

Is therapy in person, online, or both?

Both formats are available. The in-person practice is in Barcelona (Vía Augusta, next to Plaza Molina), and online therapy, by video call, is available throughout Spain.

How long does the therapeutic process take?

It isn't possible to give a fixed timeframe, since it depends on each person and the situation being worked on. What is constant in any process is that changes take time and are gradual.

What's the difference between in-person and online therapy?

The format changes, but not the seriousness or the professional commitment: both are approached with the same dedication. The online format is an alternative designed for people with schedule, mobility or distance constraints.

Is what I talk about in therapy confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a fundamental principle of psychological practice and is protected both by the Code of Ethics of the Official College of Psychology and by data protection regulations.

Do I need to know exactly what's wrong before booking an appointment?

No. Many people arrive at the first session without being entirely clear on what's happening to them or how to put it into words. Identifying it together is part of the process itself.

Can I stop therapy whenever I want?

Yes, therapy is a voluntary process. If at any point you decide to end it, it's recommended to discuss it so the process can be closed properly, but the decision is always yours.
